Welcome to the Heart of Our Adventures.
At Tinker Scout Adventure Lab, every activity, every discovery, and every spark of curiosity begins with a sense of wonder. Kids learn best when they feel supported, encouraged, and guided — and that’s where our mascot comes in. Before you explore STEM projects, nature adventures, or creative challenges, there’s someone special we want you to meet… the friendly companion who leads the way on every journey.

Meet Scout
Scout is the curious, adventurous dog who guides kids through every activity at Tinker Scout Adventure Lab. His design is inspired by Juliette Gordon Low’s beloved dog, a symbol of loyalty, curiosity, and the spirit of early Girl Scouting. Scout loves exploring nature, tinkering with STEM ideas, and helping kids discover new things. Wherever you see Scout on the site, an adventure is waiting.

⭐ Scout’s Story
Scout began as a simple idea during a troop meeting: “What if we had a friendly guide who could help kids explore, learn, and create?” Inspired by the real dog who accompanied Juliette Gordon Low, Scout became the heart of Tinker Scout Adventure Lab — a companion who represents curiosity, courage, and joyful learning. He carries a small adventure backpack, loves discovering new places, and is always ready to help kids try something hands‑on.
Here are some of the ways Scout appears throughout the site.
